Booked this hotel for two nights Sunday 9th and Monday10th March as we were going to concert at Coop Live to see Teddy Swims. Room had everything we needed including hairdryer, air con, very comfy beds (requested extra pillows and they were supplied). Blackout blind so not woke early by the sunlight. Shower and separate toilet. Bonus not having to check out till 12 noon on departure day.. Loved the fact that we were allowed to use microwave in reception to warm up a microwave meals that we purchased from Aldi which is only an 8 mins walk. Location perfect 10-11 min walk from Manchester Picadilly railway station. New islington tram stop across Road from Hotel and it took us straight outside Co-op Live at Eithad Campus. Staff really friendly and helpful this includes the reception staff and cleaners. We opened the shower cubicle door but was greeted with a nasty smell coming from the drain hole we collared one of he cleaner on our floor and she came in and put some fluid down the drain and within a couple of minutes the smell disappeared. Definitely value for money 2 nights £88 would definitely book this hotel if we go Coop Live again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant. The bed was comfortable. There wasn't a kettle in the room - not a big deal for us, but just a head's up for anyone who relies on their morning coffee.

Bed was comfortable and nice to sleep on, with big mattress. Overall, room was perfect for our one night stay. A good place to lay your head down. Room was warm enough during the night. Heating worked fine. Toilet and shower were separated from each other and the shower cabin is a bit small, but that did not bother us during our one night stay. Size of the room is small, but did not bother me. I was allowed to leave my luggage at the reception free of charge and sit in the lobby after the check-out. I could buy coffee at the reception, even if it was well past breakfast time. Location is good, area is safe, with big, modern buildings around. There are some cafes nearby, including Costa coffee right outside the hotel.

I stayed at ibis budget manchester for the Trilogy Tour and it was an ideal location to the Etihad Stadium (near Co-Op live.) There is a bus route directly to the stadium and buses run until slightly later on Fridays and Saturdays which helped me get back safely. Breakfast was nice but if I stay again I will not pay for breakfast and I'll just buy some fruit or something to eat in my room. They had Greek yoghurt, strawberry yoghurt, canned peaces, [some canned citrus fruit but it was bad so i didn't have it again], fresh apples, fresh oranges, sandwich ingredients (ham, cheese, cream cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, butter), blueberry muffins, croissants, bread buns (with and without seeds) and other cereals. For drinks they had water, apple juice, orange juice as well as a hot drinks machine with caffeinated options and hot chocolate which I had because I don't drink caffeine.

Together with my family we were very pleased with the accommodation. Clean room, friendly staff who are always ready to help you. The location is great, easy to get from the airport using public transport (10 minutes walk from the central train station). Right next to the hotel you can find Costa for tasty coffee, shops, public transport stations 1-2 minutes walk. City center - 20 minutes walk.

Room was clean and comfortable if not very basic. Location not too bad though a little confusing how to get there from Piccadilly station, but once figured it it was fine. Staff incredibly friendly and security is top notch, couldn't even use the lift without your room card. Breakfast was a continental style and was nice.

Continental breakfast in ibis Budget Manchester Centre Pollard Street

The staff were very welcoming, accommodating, helpful, polite and friendly. Nothing was too much and it was great that services were available 24 hours a day. It was nice to know staff were on site if needed. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Links go the centre were phenomenal really good to know we could get a tram to the inner city. Location was excellent. No trouble at the hotel and nothing was too much for the staff. There was one in particular that was very helpful on my first night of stay. My charger broke and she was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable if I could of picked up the bed and take it home with me I would have. Great value for money I believe as it was a budget hotel breakfast should of been provided but overall excellent hotel.

The room was basic and compact, which is what I expected, but very clean and had everything that I needed for my stay. The staff were great as well, very friendly! The location was great for attending a concert at the Co-op Live so if you've got an event there or at the Stadium then it's perfect because you can walk straight down the road easy.

Good for that price(8.50£ per person), no salads or full meal(as we were used to), but you can get protein from boiled eggs, have an apple, coffee, cereals with yogurt and fresh soft croissant👍🏻 the most important: we ate as much as we wanted so didn’t want anything for lunch. Besides breakfast - you can pay for extra coffee 2£ on reception. We got very big room, because it was located on the end of corridor, much bigger than it had to be, if we had gotten a normal one, it would be too tiny for 3 people
